Jews in the town of Mitzpe Yericho are taking steps for the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, by preparing descendents of Cohanim (priests) and Levites for service.
At the Mitzpe Yericho rabbinical school, Temple novice priests learn exactly how to conduct the daily Temple service and offer the required sacrifices of doves, lambs, cows, and grain.
Today is really a historical event for the Jewish people,” organizer Levi Chazan said as another part of the school was completed. “It is the beginning of the work for the Third Temple.”
The school will include an exact replica of the Temple. The latest addition to the replica was the area in which priests offered wine and water libations. The water offering was traditionally given on the Sukkot holiday, which was celebrated last week.
Festivities accompanied the completion of another step in the school’s construction. Among those present was Baruch Marzel, long-time Land of Israel activist and parliamentary aide to MK Michael Ben-Ari. The timing of the work on the school is particularly appropriate due to recent Muslim riots against Jewish visits to the Temple Mount, Marzel said.
Some Christians believe that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ cannot occur until the Third Temple is constructed in Jerusalem, which requires the appearance of a red heifer born in Israel. Clyde Lott, a cattle breeder in O’Neill, Nebraska, United States, is attempting to breed red heifers with the intent of exporting them to Israel in preparation of the Parousia.
In keeping with the commands of the Torah, the Jews plan to construct the Third Temple on the Temple Mount in the old city of Jerusalem.
The Mount is the holiest site in Judaism. The Midrash holds that it was from this location that the world expanded to its present form and that it was at this place where God formed man from the dust.
The site is also sacred to the Muslims. It contains the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, two of the oldest Islamic structures on planet earth.
How the Jewish people intend to wrest control of the Temple Mount from the hands of the Muslims remains a matter of conjecture.

Reading most of these posts it’s no wonder the world is in the shape it. Yes, the Jewish people are God’s chosen people; those whom he chose to set as an example of His existence. This does not mean the Jews themselves are worthy of praise but of the very nature of their surivival, their very strength represents the God of Israel, the very same God of the Universe. Are the Jews free from condemnation? No. Again, the example for us is to judge not the individual but glorify the reality of an All Mighty God. When we are instructed to pray for the peace of Israel we are to do so in accordance of accepting the mighty will of God and therefore, we are blessed in return for having faith in His Reality – not the Jewish people – for it is in believing in Him that we are blessed.
It all boils down to prophecy. You either ’see’ or not. Sucks to be the one who doesn’t ’see’ or ‘hear’!!!

I am a Canadian. Your ignorance on the subject in which you speak of is conpletely without honour and disrespectful towards all the men and women who left there homes and families and country to die in the invasion of Europe through France and Italy for no gain of there owne what so ever. These people you call cowards weren’t hiding in some research facility calling themselves hero’s for creating diabolic machines of death behind closed doors. In fact they were front line warriors of the bravest crop who gave up everything to come to the Jewish people’s aid and ended the evil death camps that would sureley have wiped out the Jewish people almost entirley had they not fought toothe and nail till the end of the war. All we said in the end was “No thanks nessessary, we had to stop the evil, we would have done the same for any people who were in the same position.” Have you any idea how many suicide missions our countrymen commissioned upon themselves? The whole war was a suicide mission for Canada. We didn’t care. We aren’t going around calling people cowards. P.S. If there is a god he created all of mankind. Every shape and color. I doubt very much he that he would appreciate any of us killing each other or warring for any reason. I doubt very much that if there is a judgement day we will be judged individually. So I hope for the future of mankind that such a day doesn’t come any time soon. All we have to do is live peacfully together and we can’t do it. If judgement day were tomorrow our race would cease to exist entirley. For the ancient debate for our continuence of existence would be over. We will have failed catastrophically. I hope we will wake up soon and realize it before it is too late.
