GULEN MOVEMENT FUNDED BY HEROIN VIA THE C.I.A.

UNCLE SAM BECOMES A SARACEN

GOG AND MAGOG ARISE IN PENNSYLVANIA

Court records and the testimony of former government officials show that Fethullah Gulen, who presently resides in Pennsylvania, has amassed more than $25 billion in assets from the heroin route which runs from Afghanistan to Turkey.

Sibel Edmonds, a former FBI translator, testified that the drug money has been channeled into Gulen’s coffers by the C.I.A.

“A lot of the drugs were going to Belgium with NATO planes,” Ms. Edmonds said. “After that, they went to the UK, and a lot came to the US via military planes to distribution centers in Chicago, and Paterson, New Jersey.”

Ms. Edmonds further said that Turkish diplomats, who would never be searched by airport officials, have come into the country “with suitcases of heroin.”

According to Ms. Edmond and other government witnesses, Gulen began to receive funding from the CIA in the wake of the collapse of the Soviet Union when federal officials realized that the U.S. could not obtain control of the vast energy resources of the newly created Russian republics because of deep-seated suspicion of American motives.

Turkey, the U.S. officials came to realize, could serve as a perfect “proxy” since it was a NATO ally that shared the same language, culture, and religion as the other Central Asian countries.

The strategy has met with success since Turkey has formed an alliance with Iran and is emerging as the world’s most powerful Islamic nation.

But the success has come with a price. The only way to provide Gulen with sufficient funds to topple Turkey’s secular regime and to conduct education jihad within the Russian republics came from the poppy fields of Afghanistan.

This scenario serves to explain why US-led coalition troops in Afghanistan are forbidden to firebomb the fields or fumigate the poppies with a chemical herbicide, such as glyphosate.

Despite such testimony and growing concern over Turkey, the Obama administration has opted to turn a blind eye to Gulen and his mountain fortress in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania.

Fethullah Gulen has been called the “most dangerous Islamist” on the planet.

In his native Turkey, Gulen’s vast fortune has been used to create the Justice and Democratic Party (Adalet ve Kalkinma, AKP), which has gained control of the government.

With the elections of 2002, the AKP gained absolute control of the Turkish government.

Abdullah Gul, Turkey’s first Islamist President, is a Gulen disciple along with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Yusuf Ziya Ozcan, the head of Turkey’s Council of Higher Education.

Under the AKP, Turkey has transformed from a secular state into an Islamic country with 85,000 active mosques – – one for every 350- citizens – – the highest number per capita in the world, 90,000 imams, more imams than teachers and physicians – – and thousands of state-run Islamic schools.

Despite the rhetoric of European Union accession, Turkey has transferred its alliance from Europe and the United States to Russia and Iran. It has moved toward friendship with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Syria and created a pervasive anti-Christian, anti-Jewish, and anti-America animus throughout the populace.

Gulen has purchased newspapers, television networks, construction companies, universities, banks, utilities, technological outlets, pharmaceutics, and manufacturing firms throughout the country.

In addition, he has established thousands of madrassahs (Islamic religious schools) throughout Central Asia where students are indoctrinated in the tenets of militant Islam so they may be of service in the creation of a universal caliphate.

This notion is not an idle pipedream. The dream of a universal caliphate came closer to reality in recent weeks with the collapse of the secular government in Kyrgyzstan,

But the Gulen movement is not confined to Turkey and Central Asia.

Eighty-five Gulen schools have been set up in the United States as charter academies funded by public funds.

Is Gulen really affiliated with the CIA?

In support of his application for permanent residency status, Gulen obtained letters of support and endorsement, from Graham Fuller and other former CIA officials.

His petition was also endorsed by former Under Secretary of State Marc Grossman, and former Ambassador to Turkey Morton Abramowitz.

AFGHAN MUSLIMS BURN POPE IN EFFIGY

“DEATH TO AMERICA”

“KILL THE CHRISTIAN CONVERTS”

by

Welcome to American occupied Afghanistan and the latest results of the war on terror.

Thousands of students in northern Afghanistan today burned an effigy of the pope while protesting against attempts by Christian denominations to spread the gospel and to convert Muslims to Christianity.

At the same time, the Afghan government, under President Hamid Karzai, suspended operations of US-based World Church Service and Norwegian Church Aid after a local television station accused the groups of proselytism, which is a crime in the conservative Muslim country.

Students in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif shouted “Death to America” and set ablaze an effigy of Pope Benedict XVI, in the first public reaction to the allegations. “We are demonstrating to express our disgust towards the activities of Christians trying to covert Afghanis,” Abdul Karim, an Afghan student, told the press.

‘We want the government of Afghanistan to find those people, try them and punish them. We want both the converted and those who have converted them to be brought to justice and punished,’ Mr. Karim said.

Converting from Islam to another religion is punishable by death under Afghan law.

The Afghan constitution is based on traditional sharia law, which strictly bans religious conversion.

The government is investigating the two organizations after the little-known Noorin TV channel showed footage of men reciting Christian prayers in Farsi and undergoing baptism. The television station said the men were Afghans who converted to Christianity as a result of the proselytizing efforts of the two groups.

Both groups have denied the accusations.

The footage produced irate reactions from conservative circles, including Afghan lawmakers who called upon the country’s security chiefs for an explanation last week.

Former Afghan interior minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar, who resigned on Sunday over a Taleban rocket attack directed at a peace conference, told parliament that two of the men shown in the TV footage have been taken into custody and will face the death penalty.

OBAMA’S NEW OASIS FOR TERRORISTS

$60 MILLION PRISON OPENS

GITMO TO CLOSE-PRISONERS UPGRADED

thelastcrusade.org

The Obama administration plans to detain international terrorism suspects to a 5,0000 acre U.S. military base on the outskirts of Kabul, Afghanistan.

The prison facility at the Bagram Air Base has been constructed at a cost of $60 million to American taxpayers.

Holding suspects captured outside Afghanistan at Bagram Air Base would create another prison serving the same purpose as the one President Barack Obama has pledged to close in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The idea has drawn stiff opposition from Army Gen. Stanley McCrystal, the top commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, and other senior officials. Opponents worry the expansion of the facility at Bagram air base could make it harder to stabilize the country, the Times said.

“General McCrystal’s singular focus is on making sure our military campaign is successful,” a senior Defense Department official said. “Anything that potentially complicates that is something they are reluctant to embrace.”

Detainee abuse, including two deaths, occurred at Bagram early in the Afghan war, and the prison there had been criticized for harsh interrogations and the amount of time it held suspects without trials.

But the new facility offers detainees spotless cells with fresh linen, clean blankets, and, of course, their petsonal copy of the Quran.

The prisoners can spend their time playing soccer on a newly created soccer field, watching newly released movies, attending religious classes (Islamic, of course), napping, or conversing with friends, relatives and fellow jihadis through video links.

The cost of maintaining the prison is $5 million a year, but this figure does NOT include the cost per detainee.

Despite the exemplary treatment granted to the detainees, Taliban prisoners regularly throw feces and spit at visiting dignitaries and US military personnel.

Consideration of the plan, which needs Obama’s approval, is an indication the administration has few other places to hold and interrogate foreign prisoners outside the U.S. court system, senior administration officials told the Los Angeles Times.

The officials said that with no non-U.S. location for sending prisoners, the administration must bring the prisoners back to the United States or turn them over to foreign governments. Killing them – - even the most violent – - is not an option under the prevailing rules of engagement.

“No one particularly likes any of the choices before us right now, but Bagram may be the least bad among them,” the Defense Department official said.

A White House spokesman refused to comment.

WOMEN’S DAY IN AFGHANISTAN

A Celebration of Repression

Hillary and Michelle Overlook Gala Gathering

thelastcrusade.org

Today’s the day for women in Afghanistan to don their bright blue burqas, obtain the services of male companions, and head off to Herat to take part in International Women’s Day.

Thousands showed up for the gala event where they were treated to readings from the Koran and assurance from imams that they will remain subservient to males under the Karzai government, although they might (if they are beyond their child-bearing years) obtain permission to work in the poppy fields.

Hillary Clinton, who championed the event, failed to make an appearance in her latest hijab, and Michelle Obama, who expressed her concern for the plight of Afghan women, was nowhere in sight (unless, of course, she was concealed by her black burqa).

The speakers at the event – - Islamic scholars and male government officials – - made no mention of the slave markets in Nangarhar where women are sold to the highest bidder and of the refusal of the current regime to protect women from rape and murder.

The reaction of the women, for the most part, was difficult to discern since the majority wore full facial coverings.

No questions arose from the audience over the public floggings and stonings of women for suspected acts of adultery, let alone demands for suffrage and equal rights.

Still and media, the media treated the event as a ground-breaking celebration, despite the fact that the women have little to celebrate.

According to the U.N.’s Human Rights Watch, 87.2% of the Afghan women are subjected to physical, sexual, and psychological violence.

55% of all brides have not reached their 16th birthday. Many are married to men who are over 60.

70% of all marriages are forced, with no possibility of annulment or divorce.

89% of the Afghan women are illiterate and unschooled – - most deprived of even an elementary school education.

The women are not permitted to appear in public without a male companion and without head to toe coverings.

They are permitted neither to drive nor to seek employment.

The UN further reports that the plight of women may have worsened since the US invasion and occupation.

The women who sat patiently during the long-winded male orations and Islamic exhortations appeared to appreciate a day from the drug and dung heap of their villages, even though the event failed to include a fashion show of the latest Islamic styles, including the increasingly popular burqaini bathing suit.
